why is it so hard to find pictures of whale nipples

like I know they’re retractable and kept inside the mammary slit but surely someone has photographed them

my marine biologist friend who does whale necropsies says I won’t find any images online but if I want to see whale nipples I’ll have to get a degree and a new job or volunteer at a marine mammal center that does necropsies so I can see them first hand

this is not a quest I thought I’d have to commit to

I don’t know why I’m so fixated on this… being denied information that I know is out there, in the age of the internet? unthinkable! I’ve seen all kinds of esoteric shit I’ve never wanted to see, without even looking for it, but the moment I want to see cetacean tiddy the universe is suddenly reticent with me? maybe this is a uniquely 21st century kind of entitlement but I’m angry about this.
